When did you start cooking? I think I began my culinary career when I was about 5, you’d have to ask my mother on that one. Creating meals is something I’ve always enjoyed doing.
Favorite Ingredient(s): "Anything with bacon, butter, and/or heavy cream. You can make everything taste good by adding any one or all of these fabulous ingredients. They are a chef’s essentials."
My typical day at Woodfire: "There isn’t a typical day in the restaurant biz. That’s why I love it. Variety is the spice of life."
When at home, what do you like to eat? Hate to say it, but pizza.
Favorite Wine: Red Zinfandel or Cabernet. I appreciate all varietals, but I love the complexity and depth from a good zin or cab.
If you were to eat at Woodfire, what would you order: It’s all GOOD! (I’m supposed to say that right?) Actually my 3 favorite items on our menu are the Woodfired Meatloaf, Fried Mac ‘n Cheese, and Cajun Chicken Tortellini.
Favorite aspect about Woodfire: People. We work extremely hard every day to produce an enjoyable dining experience for our supportive patrons. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone completely enjoy their dining experience from beginning to end. Great food is a product of passion! And having the ability to use this passion to create an enjoyable meal for others is truly a blessing.
